There are two "types" of rejections that Loudr can issue:
- A "soft" rejection. This means that Loudr needs additional information to process your request and grant a mechanical license. They will provide specific details in their rejection notice. Once you've added the requested information, you can re-submit your request via Stem’s Add Content flow.
- A "hard" rejection. This means that Loudr cannot process your request and grant a mechanical license. Typically, this is because the original owner(s) has not granted permission to release cover versions of their work. Stem cannot distribute works that have been "hard rejected" by Loudr.
